³⁴ But when Pharaoh saw that the rain, hail, and thunder had stopped, he sinned again. He and his officials made their hearts unyielding.^{[a] 35} Pharaoh’s heart was hard, and he did not let the Israelites go, just as the Lord had said through Moses.
